Policies
Ordering
Our policy regarding sales is first come, first served. The only way to ensure that a knife is yours is to complete an online order for that knife before anyone else does. Our online ordering system is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Requests to hold knives via email or phone messages cannot be guaranteed. We make every effort to respond to calls and email in a timely manner, but recommend that you take advantage of our online ordering system whenever possible.
Due to recent credit card security changes, new customers cannot place orders that have a different shipping and billing address. Any current customers with separate shipping and billing addresses are subject to a follow up contact. If no contact is made the order will be cancelled. Please understand that these changes are to protect our customers from fraud and theft.
Payment Methods
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express if you wish to charge your purchase. We also accept money orders, cashier's checks, cash or personal checks made out to Arizona Custom Knives.
Shipping
We offer the following shipping options:
Domestic shipping to US addresses
UPS Ground ($10) UPS 2nd Day Air ($20) UPS Next Day Air ($45) USPS Express ($30)
USPS Priority Mail will be substituted for UPS Ground on orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.
Shipping to Canada
UPS to Canada ($20) USPS Express (EMS) to Canada ($30)
Shipping to all other International Destinations
USPS Express (EMS) to all other International Destinations ($40) UPS Worldwide Expedited to all other International Destinations ($75)
Return Policy
If you are not satisfied with your purchase you may notify us within 3 days of receipt for a full refund of the cost of the knife. Shipping charges are not refundable and all returns are subject to a 5% restocking and credit card processing fee. The item must be returned in the same condition as received and must be shipped fully insured via any common carrier. Most custom knives are guaranteed by the makers we represent, and most factory knives carry the manufacturer's warranty. The only thing we can't guarantee is the durability of natural handle materials (such as bone, ivory, wood, pearl, etc.).
If an item needs to be returned due to our error, we will offer a full refund. Contact us before sending any item back as a return.
Layaway
We offer a layaway plan on select knives that allows you to pay for your order over a period of 60 days. You are required to put one third of your order total down, pay the second third in 30 days, and the final third in 60 days. Your order is shipped when the final payment is made at the end of the 60 days. Shipping charges are added to the final payment.
Products that are eligible for layaway will be marked with a star in our listings and will show "Layaway Available: Yes" on the product page.
If your initial payment is made by credit card, we will automatically process the 2nd and 3rd payments at the appropriate time using the same credit card information. If you need to change this for any reason, please contact us.
If you wish to complete payment early and have your order shipped you may contact us at any time during the 60 day period.
There is a $15 non-refundable fee for all layaway orders. This fee will be added to the initial layaway payment automatically at checkout.
There is a $15 fee for removing or changing any items on an existing layaway order. There is no penalty or fee for adding items to an existing layaway.
Cancellations of layaway orders are subject to a restocking and credit card processing fee of 5% of the amount that has been paid toward the order at the time of cancellation. (i.e. if an order for $300 is cancelled, and $200 has already been paid, there would be a cancellation fee of $10, which is 5% of $200)
Trading or Selling Your Knives
We will consider trade offers on an individual basis. We usually do not take trades on newly listed items. Do not expect to receive full market value in return for your knives. If you would like to propose a trade, please email us with as much information as you can, including pictures, of the knives you would like to trade.
We will also consider purchases on an individual basis and prices offered depend upon the maker. In general you can expect dealers to offer you only 50-60% of the market value of a custom knife and perhaps less on factory knives. We recommend sending your knives to us for consignment as you will receive more money for your knives that way.

Appraisals and Other Questions
Appraisals can be very time consuming and we do not currently offer an appraisal service. We also believe that appraisals over the phone or email are often inaccurate. Even when a knife owner has good intentions, it is easy to misrepresent condition, value, and other facts about a knife.
Due to these factors, we cannot answer questions about knives that you may have in your collection, nor can we estimate their value. If you are interested in selling your knives, please visit our Consignment Policies page for more information.

Disclaimer
By placing an order the buyer represents that he or she is of legal age and that the products ordered will be used in a lawful manner. We assume no responsibility for any harm or injury resulting from the sale, trade, use or handling of any product purchased from us. It is the responsibility of the buyer, not the seller, to ascertain and obey all applicable local, state, federal and international laws in regard to the possession, and or use, of any item purchased. We are unable to provide refunds in the event that the package that you have ordered was seized by customs or other agencies. Consult your local and state laws before ordering if you are in doubt.
