If you have a custom knife that you would like to sell, we can help. At Arizona Custom Knives, we sell hundreds of consigned knives every year and would like to offer you the same opportunity.

How it works

Contact us via phone or email with information about the knives that you want to sell. If your knives would be a good fit for our site, we'll have you ship them to us to get things started. We handle all the pictures and write-ups, and will ensure that you get a fair price. Once the knife is sold, you will receive 75% of the final sale price of the knife. Refer to our Consignment Policies below for all the details.

Consignment Policies

Shipping Your Knives

Things to remember when sending your knives to us:

When sending your knives to us for consignment, please provide as much information about each knife as possible, including maker, blade & handle materials, etc. This will allow us to add your knives to the site as quickly as possible. Knives should also be clean and in salable condition. Repair and/or cleaning fees will be deducted if we need to work on a knife to make it presentable and will delay placement on the site. We are not responsible for shipping costs when receiving consignment knives.

Due to the large number of consignments we accept each week, it may take up to two weeks from the date we receive your knives to post them on the site.  We will contact you during this period if we need any additional information about your knives.

Pricing

We will offer our suggestions on pricing for any consignment knives but ultimately the decision is up to you.  Some people prefer to let us completely handle the pricing of their knives, and others have specific prices in mind that they want us to follow.  Proper pricing can be the difference between selling a knife in minutes and sitting on it for months, so we will work with you to find a price that will both meet your needs and result in a sale.

Payment

Consignment payouts are once a month for all knives sold during the previous pay period. Please be aware that consignment sales abide by the same policies as any other sale on our site, including our return policy and the option of being sold on layaway.  Payouts are typically about a month from the date that the buyer has fully paid for the knife.  You will receive 75% of the final sale price of each knife. Contact us with any questions you may have regarding payment.

Miscellaneous

You may choose to have your knife removed from the site and returned to you at any time, but will be charged a $25 handling fee and will be responsible for the return shipping if the knife has been on the site for less than six months before being returned.
