Overview
This fixed blade fighting knife from Howard Hitchmough features a 3/16" mirror polished blade with 1" depth. Mirror polish satinless double guard, and rosewood scales. Tapered tang construction. Some table scuffing on the guard. This knife appears on pg. 230 of "The London Knife Book" by Ron Flook. This knife was made in 1983.

ABOUT THE MAKER
Hitchmough, Howard
Howard Hitchmough was born and raised in London, England began working in 1958 as a surgical instrument maker and during the early 1960's started making hunting knives. Also at that time, Howard's fascination with mechanisms stimulated him to produce a few folding knives. In 1982, He began attending knife shows in the United States and became a full-time knife maker in 1985. Later in 1997, Howard moved from England to New Hampshire and built an advanced workshop. He has completed numerous courses in jewelry making and continuously expand his knife making knowledge by reading and study.
