Overview
This Left Handed 11" Back Release Stiletto by Butch Vallotton was made in 1988. It features a polished bayonet ground blade with false top edge. The handle has stainless steel bolsters and butt, stainless liners and backspacer, nicely aged ivory micarta scales. Comes with an extra set of buffalo horn scales and the pivot and allen wrench tools necessary to take the knife apart. Comes with nylon zippered case. Has some light scratches, but excellent condition overall.

Butch Vallotton is considered one of the finest automatic knifemakers specializing in double action autos and for converting manual folders into automatic. He started making knives full time in 1984, making his first auto in 1987. His assisted knife technology is in current use by Gerber, and he has worked with Spyderco and Microtech designing the very collectible Chameleon Double Action.
