Visit this maker's website: Keith Ouye Knives. "I became a "full time" knifemaker after retiring from Verizon at the end of 2001. I have been attending knives shows and buying various knifemaking supplies for several years before retirement and started making knives with fixed blades with assistance and guidance from Stan Fujisaka about two years ago. I switched to making folders about a year later and currently have been concentrating on knives with a tactical style. I have four models that I currently make with either ats 34 or s30v blades from .125 stock. The handles are all titanium with .071 liners and .100 scales, utilizeing 3/16 pivots and stop pins. The folders are about 9 inches overall and have about a 4 inch blade. features that hopefully makes my knives a little unique are the flipper and pocket clip (allows knives to sit low in pocket). Any engraving on the knives are done by C.J. Cai who lives in my neighborhood. I was recently selected by Blade Magazine, in March 2006 issue, as one of five makers to watch in 2006."
