This Dagger by James Behring features a double edged blade with satin finished grinds and hammer mark finished flats, .250" blade stock and 1.747" blade depth, hidden tang construction. The handle has a copper guard, fossil walrus ivory grip with a single aluminum pin, and black/copper spacer pattern. Comes with a hand tooled black/brown leather sheath by Warlander Leather. James Behring was born in Detroit, Michigan but grew up in rural Ray Township, Michigan playing in the woods bow hunting, fishing, and skeet shooting. As a boy he was taught by his father to hunt and fish on the lakes and forests of Northern Michigan and later the Upper Peninsula. The Behring Family had a hunting camp in the U.P., where James would spend much of his fall months. Also an avid fisherman, he discovered early in life the serenity to be found while alone in the forest or on a lake, or in a stream.
