. "In 2003 I started to make custom knives and just found the whole experience to be fun and magical. As is true with other makers, what started out as a hobby quickly turned into an obsession. I am passionate about only creating knives of my own design and controlling every aspect of the knife making process. While I still make a few fixed blade knives, I am now focusing on mid and high end folders. One major goal of mine is that once I complete a knife, it must be visibly pleasing and have enough detail that there is no doubt it is a custom knife. So whether one of my knives is used during hunting season or displayed in a collection, I want the owner to always be proud of it.To ensure that I reach these goals I joined the Knifemakers Guild, and became a full time maker in 2005. In doing so, I made a commitment(to the Guild) to actively pursue the craft of custom knife making and uphold the standards set by the Guild and its Board of Directors. This is also a commitment to my customers that I will make every effort to: create a quality product, achieve name recognition in the knife community, and ultimately improve the investment value of every knife I make."
