Overview
This hunter features a hand-rubbed satin finish blade, dovetailed mirror polished stainless bolsters, and mammoth molar scales. 1/8" blade thickness and 1" blade depth. Full tang construction. Nicely contoured handle. Great looking and well matched mammoth molar scales. Excellent work. There are some scratches on one side of the blade near the tip.

Beauchamp, Gaetan

Gaetan has received international recognition and awards for his knives and scrimshaw.Gaetan prefers to use ATS-34, 440C, O1, and Damascus. He typically uses 416 stainless steel for his bolsters. His handle materials range from stabilized wood, ivory, water buffalo horn to malachite and lapis lazuli gemstone. Gaetan's wife, Denise Bryar, makes his sheaths, often using moose, emu, shark, salmon skin and beaver tail. Gaetan Beauchamp is a member of both the Canadian and the U.S. Knifemakers' Guilds.
