Copyrighted in 1990 and published in 1991, this is a detailed, definitive work covering the life of John Nelson Cooper (1906-1987), a pioneer in more ways than one, in the custom knifemaking world, specifically fixed blades. Not only an excellent biography, but full of pictures and descriptions and several quite interesting anecdotes covering his knives and some of those who owned them. A fascinating as well as informative piece of literature. Both Paul Basch and Bill Martin have earned their places in the annals of the knife world, and each did extensive research to put this book together in the most authoritative and accurate manner possible. Only 1500 copies were printed and only about 50 remain accounted for.
