Overview
This is a 1995 Model B. The Model B by Mel was the prototype for Benchmade Knives' model 850 which has been discontinued. This knife is in mint condition, smooth ambidextrous opening, excellent lockup opened and center seating when closed. Very appealing anodized titanium bolsters. A hairline crack in the walrus ivory is visible, which was present, as occurs in ivory, when the knife was made, and the ivory was stablized in this state. The crack is not felt when moving a finger nail over it. A very nice knife. Blade Steel: 154 CM Satin Finish
