Overview
The scrimshaw on the ivory scales, the engraved scrollwork on the guard and the scrollworked handle bolts were all done by Weldon Whitley. The elephant ivory scales came from ivory taken during a safari in 1957 by former New Mexico governor Tom Bolack. Blade measures 3/16 inch thick at the spine with a depth of 1 inch. Full tang construction. The palm swells along with the gentle contour provide a very comfortable grip. The engraving and scrimshaw further enhance this very nice hunter. Serial # 04152. Certificate of Authenticity. Blade Steel: 154 CM Mirror Polished @ Rc 60
