Shipping Policy

Any customers with separate shipping and billing addresses are subject to follow up contact. If no contact can be made, your order will be cancelled. Please understand that this policy is to protect our customers from fraud and theft.

Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS.

Orders placed by 3:00pm EST will be shipped the same day. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.

For our international customers, you must call or email after ordering to arrange for duties/customs and declarations before we will ship your order. USPS Express International shipments with declarations greater than $200, incur an additional $15.00 fee for postage/insurance.

Overview

This Full Dress Lycodon by Seth Taylor features a San Mai Damascus tanto recurve blade with notched flipper. The handle has zirconium and mokuti scales with mokuti pivot collars, bead blasted titanium liners, zirconium backspacer, tip up zirconium clip with hidden screws, all the hardware is hidden except the pivot. Rides on bearings, nice detent, lockup and blade seating. Comes with zippered case. Excellent condition.

I started making in 2016 with no experience in machining or knife making in general. Fortunately my father (David Taylor) and grandfather (C Gray Taylor) are both excellent makers. In fact Gray was until recently a member of the AKI and has consistently won the Buster Award at the show.I named my start up GDS knives in tribute to my lineage, but I am the sole maker behind all the products that leave the shop. When I launch I started with the Vipera model, and then nearly a year later developed the Lycodon model. I wanted the two models to serve different purposes, and I believe that they do that quite well.
