This one-of-a-kind knife by Roger "Mudbone" Jones is something special.In Mudbone's own words: "I love fish - as early as I can remember, their form has captivated me. It's also their environment that charms - weedy ponds, big lazy rivers, dark deep cold lakes, fast moving musical mountain streams, the smell of wild water, all a mix that creates a certain pure magic. I felt I needed to create something to have and hold that conjures these feelings when away from these places in my heart."
The blade is an antique cross cut file that was hand forged to resemble the shape and scaled texture of a fish. An antler was chosen for the handle that naturally resembled the tail of a fish before carving. The sheath is hand-tooled with the design of lilypads, cattails, and dragonflies.
