Shipping Policy

Any customers with separate shipping and billing addresses are subject to follow up contact. If no contact can be made, your order will be cancelled. Please understand that this policy is to protect our customers from fraud and theft.

Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS.

Orders placed by 3:00pm EST will be shipped the same day. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.

For our international customers, you must call or email after ordering to arrange for duties/customs and declarations before we will ship your order. USPS Express International shipments with declarations greater than $200, incur an additional $15.00 fee for postage/insurance.

Ricardo Vilar is self-taught, began his career in 1993, participating in all the national exhibitions of that time, signed his pieces with the brand PERCOR. In 1996 it was the subject of MAGNUM magazine. He kept his activities by making knives by thinning until 2000, where he began to forge his knives. Co-organizer of the Cutlery Seminar with North American Jerry Fisk, held in his own workshop in the year 2001. Moving on to sign his knives as R.VILAR. Since then their knives are made from forged bars and always in carbon steels, these can be simple or combined, thus forming the apricot steel. Since 2003 he has exhibited at two US fairs, the Blade Show in Atlanta every June and the Arkansas exhibition every February. In Brazil participates in the most important events of the national circuit. In 2005 he underwent a test of the important American association Americam Bladesmith Society, where he was successfully approved and became the first Journeymansmith of South America.
