ABOUT THE MAKER
Schuette (CWS Knives), Chuck
I am Chuck Schuette, of CWS Knives. I have been making knives for over 35 Years. My wife and I recently moved to Glen St. Mary, FL from Gambrills, MD. We retired, sold our swimming pool construction and service company in order to concentrate on our passions, knife making and glass art. Since Moving I have designed and built a new shop where I have the time and freedom to create. After Years of forging my own Damascus and carbon steel blades, and will continue to do so, I am now taking on the challenge of creating the finest stainless steel blades. I strive to make each knife unique via design, materials used, embellishments and custom high quality leather sheaths. Though many buyers have chosen to be collectors for the pride of ownership and display of beauty, many others have chosen to use my knives as the tools they were intended to be. "If there's time to do it, there's time to do it right."
