Overview
This Samuel Bell Bowie in the Stafford Style by Master Smith Kevin Harvey (this knife has his Journeyman Smith stamp) features a "Heart Beat" pattern Damascus blade with a fuller on one side and a chisel ground sharpened top edge, forged by Kevin, .219" blade stock and 1.077" blade depth, hidden tang construction. The handle is mother of pearl with nickel silver fittings. Comes with a nickel silver scabbard that fits it perfectly. Comes with a zippered case and certificate from the original sale. Excellent condition.

Heavin Forge (Heather and Kevin Harvey)
"Heavin" is a combination of our first names, HEAther and KeVIN. We are both award-winning Master Bladesmiths with the American Bladesmith Society, members of the Knifemakers' Guild of Southern Africa, and founding members of the Southern African Bladesmiths Association. Both Kevin and Heather are authorised instructors in Bladesmithing with the American Bladesmith Society. Regular classes are presented at their Heavin Forge Bladesmithing Studio and School in South Africa. The two have also taught at the Bill Moran School of Bladesmithing in Old Washington, Arkansas, U.S.A. Heavin Forge, our bladesmithing school, is one of seven ABS recognised schools in the world with five of them being in the U.S.A, one in Belgium and Heavin Forge in South Africa.
