ABOUT THE MAKER
Visit this maker's website: Marzitelli Custom Knives. Peter Marzitelli is a full time knife maker who began making knives in 1982. He is self taught, and has learned all of the various operations of knifemaking, including: design, heat treat, and leatherwork, through his own experiences and studies. Only the finest steel is used in every "MARZ" knife, such as: ATS-34, 440C, D2, and Stainless Damascus. During heat treat, each blade is double tempered to ensure a good tough, non brittle blade that will flex. Handle materials range from exotic hardwoods, mammoth and mastodon ivory, deer and moose antler, to synthetics like micarta and carbon fiber. With little care, your "MARZ" knife should last a lifetime!
