Layaway Information

Layaway Policies

We offer a layaway plan on select products so you may pay for your order over a period of 60 days. Products that are eligible for layaway will show "Layaway Available: Yes" on the product page.

Here's how it works:

The total amount of the order excluding shipping, tax, or fees is divided into three (3) equal payments. The first payment is due with the order, the second payment is due 30 days later, and the final payment is due 60 days after the order.

There is a $15 non-refundable fee for layaway orders. This fee is added to the first payment along with the shipping and any tax. The first payment is made when the order is placed.

Example: Your order total is $300 plus $12.75 shipping and handling. If you select the layaway option, your payments would be:

  • $127.75 (1/3 of purchase = $100 + $15 layaway fee + $12.75 shipping)
  • $100.00 (1/3 of purchase = $100)
  • $100.00 (1/3 of purchase = $100)

If your initial payment is made by credit card, we will automatically process the 2nd and 3rd payments at the appropriate time using the same credit card information. You will be reminded via email that a payment will be charged. If you need to change this for any reason, please contact us.

For payments made other than credit card, payment must be received within seven (7) days of the due date or the order is subject to cancellation. You will receive a reminder via email that a payment is due.

If you wish to complete payment early and have your order shipped, you may contact us at any time during the 60 day period. There is no penalty for prepayment.

Additional products may be added to a layaway order without penalty. A new payment schedule will be calculated based on when additional products are added.

If you wish to complete payment early and have your order shipped, you may contact us at any time during the 60 day period. There is no penalty for early payment.

Cancellations of layaway orders are subject to a restocking/processing fee of 10% of the order total (not including tax and shipping costs). This restocking fee is in addition to the $15 non-refundable layaway fee.

Overview

The Sinn UX Collection is a family of diver’s watches designed to be pushed to the limit. Sinn have a history of putting their watches through their paces to truly test the robustness and quality. This model is no exception. It features numerous Sinn Technologies, such as TEGIMENT, HYDRO and Temperature Compensation to ensure this watch will thrive during the deepest dives. German Submarine Steel is used to make the cases of the UX Collection to ensure that every aspect of the watch can survive in seawater. Favoured by the German GSG 9 Special Forces and modelled on the EZM 2 from the 1990s, this model is engineered to be worn on maritime missions. The Sinn UX Collection makes an iconic military Sinn design accessible to everyone.

Core Features of the UX Collection:

  • The Sinn UX is a mission timer for special operation forces, designed to withstand extreme situations. Each watch is precise and reliable even in the most adverse conditions. The mission timer look gives optimal readability, even at a glance.
  • These diver’s watches combine the most innovative technologies and the most resistant materials to create precisely engineered timepieces.
  • Each of the watches in this collection is made of high-strength, seawater-resistant, bead blasted German Submarine Steel.
  • The HYDRO Technology used in these watches means that the case of each model is filled with special oil to allow perfect readability from every angle without reflection or fogging. This technology also keeps the case water-resistant to any reachable diving depth. The water-resistance is further improved by the case back being screw-fastened and the screwable D3-system crown. Each watch meets the technical requirements for waterproofness, as set out in standard DIN 8310.
  • The captive diver’s bezel with minute ratcheting is secure and cannot be unintentionally moved. The bezel of each model has TEGIMENT Technology, making it scratch-resistant. Each bezel features a luminous key mark.
  • Each UX model features scratch-resistant sapphire glass.
  • All of the UX watches are powered by a high precision quartz movement of the calibre ETA 995.652. These movements use a lithium-ion battery with an exceptionally long life as they can supply electricity at temperatures down to -25˚C. The movements are temperature compensated to ensure they are not affected by sudden temperature change. Each movement is anti-magnetic as per DIN 8309 and has 7 bearing jewels and a seconds stop function. Each watch is functionally reliable from -20˚C to +60˚C.
  • The movements of the Sinn UX watches are pressure-resistant up to 5000m diving depth (500 bar), and the case is pressure-resistant up to 12000m diving depth (1200 bar), certified by DNV GL and according to the technical demands for the diving norm 8306. This is tested based on European diving equipment standards EN 250/EN14143. The watches are also resistant to low pressure.
  • Each watch has a case diameter of 44mm, a band lug width of 22mm and a case thickness of 13.3mm. They each weigh 105 grams without a strap.
  • All of the watches in the collection feature hour, minute, and second hands and a date display.

Model Specifications 403.051 BRACELET:

  • This watch features a matte black dial.
  • The UX watch is the official service watch of the German GSG 9 special forces. This model features the GSG 9 logo on the dial.
  • TEGIMENT Technology is used to enhance the hardness of the bezel and enables the application of a high-quality, black PVD coating to the bezel.
  • The hour, minute, and second hands and baton indices are coated in luminescent colour for easy readability in all lights.
  • The dial features hour and minute indices for precise timekeeping. A larger index is used at the 12 o’clock point.
  • A date display can be found at the 3 o’clock point.
  • The crown is placed at 10 o’clock so it does not put pressure on the back of the hand.
  • This model is finished with a bead-blasted stainless-steel two-link bracelet.

Comes with original box, papers and tool. Excellent condition.
