Overview
This Antique Pig Sticker Leverlock Auto by Toledo features a satin finished and engraved/etched clip point blade with false top edge. The handle has folding steel swing guards, sheep horn scales, steel liners, steel backspacer with lever style lock. Has some scratches and patina, otherwise good condition for an old antique knife. Has some blade play. The spring is a little weak at this point in its life, it will fire all the way if you help it a bit. Comes with original brown leather sheath, but the stitching has come out.
This style knife was invented by french Admiral Count Charle Henri d'Estaing in 1780. It is called "Dague à la d'Estaing".
