Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS.
Orders placed by 3:00pm EST will be shipped the same day. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.
For our international customers, you must call or email after ordering to arrange for duties/customs and declarations before we will ship your order. USPS Express International shipments with declarations greater than $200, incur an additional $15.00 fee for postage/insurance.

This Non-locking folder designed by Kelly Carlson features a satin finished wharncliffe style blade with checkered thumbrest, The handle has wood covers, and backstrap. Has a couple marks on the body, excellent condition otherwise.
This is a Chinese product made by way of a patent sold by the maker before his passing; Knives handmade made by Kelly Carlson will be stamped either "Carlson Knives", or (for earlier creations) a minimal design depicting the letter K within the letter C.

"While a member of the Special Forces in the mid 1960's, I ordered a Randall knife in anticipation of a tour in Southeast Asia. At the time Bo Randall was so back ordered he was unable to fill my order, but he offered me a finished blade if I could make my own handle, guard and pommel. The project was so satisfying it served as a catalyst to becoming a part time maker of my own fixed bladed knives in 1970. For the next three decades, while pursuing another career path, my fixed blades became valued contest prizes for my sales force. During that period I also became an enthusiastic collector of handmade folders, and when I left my former business in 1999 I decided to concentrate on making folders of my own design. I began making folders on a full time basis in 2001. While I do still make occasional fixed blades, my focus is primarily on artistic folders of my own design. I particularly enjoy experimenting with different materials, colors and textures." Passed away in 2010.
