Overview
The RR Station Fixed 'Ocean' is the first fixed blade design from ATR & Knife Standards. Is it a kitchen knife? Is it an EDC fixed blade? The answer is yes. It is a comfortable everyday carry and it can perform in the kitchen.
The original RR Station was inspired by my Father's love of trains. He was fascinated with trains and collected electric, model, and toy trains throughout his life. This design is dedicated to him and to honor his memory. You will find his initials 'RR' somewhere on all of my designs.
For the original RR Station I set out to design a functional everyday carry knife that has the shape and silhouette of a train. The RR Station Fixed 'Ocean' has a similar rail car silhouette, with a taller flat ground belt satin Vanax SuperClean blade, and chamfered fat carbon fiber handle.
This full tang fixed blade is rust resistant and corrosion proof. Vanax SuperClean blade steel is paired with titanium hardware and fat carbon fiber handles, to make the fixed RR Station an ideal choice for kitchen prep and outdoor EDC carry.
Each RR Station Fixed 'Ocean' will come with a carbon fiber patterned kydex sheath.
This is a very limited variation with less than 30 pieces produced.
