Overview
This is antique wakizashi has a satin finished blade with fullers, folded steel, .304" blade stock and 1.143" blade depth, hidden tang construction. The handle has a textured brass habiki, wooden shirasaya handle and matching saya. Has some wear, some light scratches and patina, has some dings in the blade edge, otherwise good condition for its age. The tang is signed, we will add pictures of that as well. Please let us know if you have any information on the sword maker. The saya has the remnants of a piece of paper attached with Japanese writing, but its in poor shape and google can't translate it, please let us know if you know what it says.
