Shipping Policy

Any customers with separate shipping and billing addresses are subject to follow up contact. If no contact can be made, your order will be cancelled. Please understand that this policy is to protect our customers from fraud and theft.

Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS.

Orders placed by 3:00pm EST will be shipped the same day. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.

For our international customers, you must call or email after ordering to arrange for duties/customs and declarations before we will ship your order. USPS Express International shipments with declarations greater than $200, incur an additional $15.00 fee for postage/insurance.

Overview

This Scissor Knife by Paul Cooper was made by stock removal from a single piece of 1075. The blade is satin finished with notched thumbrest, .250" blade stock and .887" blade depth, full integral construction. The handle is blued or blackened. Has a nickel silver decorative rivet that has a very small heart on it, which is his makers mark. Comes with a Kydex sheath with belt loop. Has a couple light sheath scratches, otherwise excellent condition. This is a very cool piece. 

This piece was commissioned by a guy who wasn't allowed to carry a knife at work, but was allowed to carry scissors.

About the Maker

Cooper, Paul

Paul Cooper is a full time maker who specializes in forged and hand finished fixed blades. He prefers to use tool steel, damascus and natural materials. His works are one of a kind and often inspired by traditional or historic pieces. Paul sold his first piece at the 2006 OKCA show in Eugene, Oregon and was recognized at that show as 'Best New Maker' and has also been recognized by Blade Magazine as a 2010 maker-to-watch. Paul's work work has been exhibited in the National Heritage Museum in Lexington, Massachusetts alongside the work of his mentor and friend, JD Smith.
