Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS.
Orders placed by 3:00pm EST will be shipped the same day. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.
For our international customers, you must call or email after ordering to arrange for duties/customs and declarations before we will ship your order. USPS Express International shipments with declarations greater than $200, incur an additional $15.00 fee for postage/insurance.

This Lockback by George Herron features a mirror polished drop point blade with a nail nick. The handle features a mirror polished 416 stainless steel frame with ironwood inlays. Nice lockup, action and blade seating. Comes with a brown deer skin pocket sheath. Excellent condition. This knife was owned by Duncan Barnes, the editor of Field & Stream magazine. Comes with a letter from him about the knife and his trip to George Herron's shop.

George Herron was a significant player in the custom knife world. He was well known for his exquisitely crafted and designed stock removal knives, he specialized in hunting knives and skinners, he has a significant collector following. He was a past president of the Knifemakers Guild and founded the South Carolina Knifemakers Guild, in 1987 he was inducted into the Blade Cutlery Hall of Fame. George passed away in 2007.
