Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS.
Orders placed by 3:00pm EST will be shipped the same day. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.
For our international customers, you must call or email after ordering to arrange for duties/customs and declarations before we will ship your order. USPS Express International shipments with declarations greater than $200, incur an additional $15.00 fee for postage/insurance.

This Loveless Style Boot Knife by Thad Buchanan has a mirror polished clip point blade with false top edge, .156" blade stock and .892" blade depth, full tapered tang construction. The handle has a stainless steel double guard, mammoth ivory scales with stainless steel pins, fine red liners, and lanyard hole. Comes with a brown leather sheath and nylon zippered case. Excellent condition.

"I started making knives in 1986 when Bill Harsey invited me to work with him in his shop. I attended my first knife show in 1987 where I won Best New Maker award at the OKCA show. After that I was hooked, I spent as much time in the shop as I could and made a point of attending a show every few months. Unfortunately, life got busy in the early 90's and I put shows on the back burner. I continued to make knives for local customers and the slower pace allowed me to focus on improving the quality of my work. I was fortunate to live in a location with several accomplished makers. The three who helped me the most were Bill Harsey, Bob Lum and Ron Lake. Every knife I make reflects something I have learned from these three makers and I am grateful for their willingness to share their hard earned expertise. In 2005 I retired from a career in law enforcement and was able to realize my long time dream of making knives on a full time basis." Thad is the father of Zac Buchanan.
