Shipping Policy

Any customers with separate shipping and billing addresses are subject to follow up contact. If no contact can be made, your order will be cancelled. Please understand that this policy is to protect our customers from fraud and theft.

Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS.

Orders placed by 3:00pm EST will be shipped the same day. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.

For our international customers, you must call or email after ordering to arrange for duties/customs and declarations before we will ship your order. USPS Express International shipments with declarations greater than $200, incur an additional $15.00 fee for postage/insurance.

Overview

This Kangaroo knife set by Lorenzo Hendricks features a hand rub satin finished blade with a false top edge, .146" blade stock and .942" blade depth, full tang construction. The handle has engraved and satin finished stainless steel dovetail bolsters, engraving by Bruce Shaw, desert ironwood burl scales and nickel silver pins. Knife includes a second blade that fits nicely in rear of handle. Second blade has file work along edges on handle and a hand rub satin finished blade. This set is numbered "2" on both blades. Includes a hand tooled brown leather sheath by Joe Davis, and a zippered case. Excellent condition.

Hendricks, Lorenzo (Larry)

Larry Hendricks (1920-1989) made knives based on several different patterns, but his specialty was making Kangaroo Knife Sets. Larry began making knives in 1943.

Shaw, Bruce

Bruce received his art training at Cal-State University at Los Angeles and is a graduate mechanical engineer. He started engraving in 1978 and has been engraving full time since 1984. Bruce spends around 60 hours of engraving time on each knife.
