Overview
This knife started life as a WW1 LFC M1913 Cavalry Saber made in 1918 by Landers, Frary & Clark (LF&C). At some point, the blade was cut down into a dagger blade. The original sword probably broke in half, and the bottom half was used to fashion a new knife. The blade has false edges, its original fullers, .296" blade stock and 1.166" blade depth, hidden/frame tang construction. The handle is from an 1918 AuLion trench knife. Has some scratches, oxidation and patina, otherwise good condition for its age. Likely theatre made. Has "M.P.C.U.C.M." stamped into the handle.
