Shipping Policy

Any customers with separate shipping and billing addresses are subject to follow up contact. If no contact can be made, your order will be cancelled. Please understand that this policy is to protect our customers from fraud and theft.

Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS.

Orders placed by 3:00pm EST will be shipped the same day. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.

For our international customers, you must call or email after ordering to arrange for duties/customs and declarations before we will ship your order. USPS Express International shipments with declarations greater than $200, incur an additional $15.00 fee for postage/insurance.

Overview

This D/A lockback auto (this knife has a broken spring and is no longer an auto) by Charlie Dake features a Damascus blade with mammoth ivory inlaid thumbstud, fileworked blade spine. The handle has Damascus dovetailed bolsters, mammoth ivory scales, blued ball bearing Damascus button, fileworked stainless steel liners and backspacer. Nice lockup. #0235 on blade. The spring is broken and it is no longer an auto, has a couple small oxidation spots on the bolsters, otherwise good condition. Comes with some original correspondence from Charlie Dake and some picture examples of possible models the customer could order.

Dake, Charlie M

Charlie Dake was originally an engineer who started making knives in the late 80's. Unfortunately Hurricane Katrina destroyed his shop in 2005. Charlie is no longer making or repairing his knives.
