Overview

This knife has great history!  Made in 1975, this piece is only 1 of 4 made and  was owned by famous Winchester gun collector Harold McCallum.  A charter member of the Winchester Arms Collector's Association, his membership number was #8.  The focal piece of his collection was six models of Winchesters with the serial #8.  This skinner is stamped #8 on both sides for him by Wayne Goddard.

The handle is elk antler. The blade is 1/8" thick and 1 1/2" deep with notching on both thumbrest and finger rest. Quite sharp!  Although the blade has some scratches and has been resharpened, this is a gem of find for any collector of Goddard or mid-20th century hunters. Blade Steel: Unknown
