Shipping Policy

Any customers with separate shipping and billing addresses are subject to follow up contact. If no contact can be made, your order will be cancelled. Please understand that this policy is to protect our customers from fraud and theft.

Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS.

Orders placed by 3:00pm EST will be shipped the same day. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.

For our international customers, you must call or email after ordering to arrange for duties/customs and declarations before we will ship your order. USPS Express International shipments with declarations greater than $200, incur an additional $15.00 fee for postage/insurance.

Overview

This unique small Fixed Blade has a blackened flint-style carbon steel drop/ spear point blade with full, hammered tang. 3/16" blade stock, 7/8" depth. Handle is (desert iron?) wood, with brass lanyard tube pin. Very well crafted. Excellent condition. Comes with custom brown leather slip sheath by Nita Broadwell. Blade Steel: Carbon Steel

About the Maker

"My name is Attila Gardener, I have been making knives by hand since 1986. At first in the local steel factory (Salgótarján) for representational purposes, then since 1996 I worked with my friend Sándor Földi in a joint workshop. From the beginning of 2009 we separated and I continue making knives in my own workshop. I have two main guidelines that define my work. The standard hunting knives, which I design based on the needs and experience of hunters, and the unique, collector knives. When decorating the custom knives, the work of other masters also appears on my knives (scrimshaw, bulino, carving, engraving). The sheaths of my standard knives are made by my wife. Since 2014 I am a member of the German Knife Makers Guild (DMG -Deutsche Messermacher Gilde)"
