Shipping Policy

Any customers with separate shipping and billing addresses are subject to follow up contact. If no contact can be made, your order will be cancelled. Please understand that this policy is to protect our customers from fraud and theft.

Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS.

Orders placed by 3:00pm EST will be shipped the same day. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.

For our international customers, you must call or email after ordering to arrange for duties/customs and declarations before we will ship your order. USPS Express International shipments with declarations greater than $200, incur an additional $15.00 fee for postage/insurance.

Tim Ogg  Jessie Wipperman, Forged in Fire Champion Tim and Jessie began their journey in forging in 2017, inspired by a foundry that Tim's nephew had crafted during a 9th-grade science class. This makeshift foundry—a steel bucket lined with concrete—was powered by a hair dryer that Tim “permanently borrowed” from his younger sister. After a full day of casting aluminum ingots from soda cans, Tim experimented by inserting a piece of rebar into the foundry. Once it reached the right temperature, he struck it with a claw hammer, igniting a new obsession.

7Forge has always been a labor of love. With limited funds, Tim and Jessie welcomed help from anyone willing to lend a hand. This support included tools generously provided by Rick Ogg, Tim’s dad. Armed with little more than a pair of channel lock pliers for tongs, a rusty 3-pound hammer, and a punch that only stamped the number 7 backward, 7Forge was born.

The backward 7 has become our maker’s mark, symbolizing the simple tools gifted by a blue-collar worker. It serves as a reminder of our hardworking heritage and our commitment to crafting knives for hardworking men and women and as a reminder that we weren't always Iowa's largest semi producrion knife company. We strive to ensure our knives are as resilient as you are, backed by an unlimited warranty and spa services to keep them in top condition for a lifetime.
