Imboden II, Dr. Howard L.

Using techniques learned while practicing dentistry in Dayton Ohio, my father started "hi II Originals" in 1988. He create4d the knives casting guards, using the lost wax technique, then adding handles made from everything from antlers and bone. He also learned to scrimshaw and carved animals into antlers, he even made his own unique sheaths. Many knives feature semi-precious stones inlaid on the handles, and all bear his trademark "hi II". Howard traveled to knife shows around the country, often trading his knives with other knifemakers. Before his death in 2017 he appeared on a list of notable US custom knifemakers.
