Izhevsk Arsenal
The Izhevsk Arsenal, located in Izhevsk, Russia, is a historic and major firearms manufacturing center. Originally established in 1807, it became a primary producer of the Mosin-Nagant rifle and later the SVT-40 during World War II. It is also famous for the site where Mikhail Kalashnikov designed the AK-47 and has produced many other firearms, including the SKS carbine, Makarov pistol, and various hunting rifles.
