These knives were formally known as the original "TRACKER"knives from the registered trademark, which I was the first to own & stamp on my blades during the '90's. After a brief retirement & the release of the 2003 Paramount Pictures film "The HUNTED" in which my Model "C" TRACKER knives were used & displayed, I resumed making my original TRACKER knife patterns but changed the name to avoid questionable trademark right disputes.
In 2003 I was the first to coin the name "WSK" or Wilderness Survival Knife to this design.
With over 22 years of refinement from personal service, feedback from customers & extensive field testing & use by top survival instructors & Elite military from around the world, my WSK knives have evolved into perfection & have repeatedly proven themselves in the field from real world survival to combat in many of our country's latest conflicts. Today you will see many variations by other makers but none can match the history, function & performance of my knives which are still the standard by which all others are judged.
All the WSK knives I offer continue to be individually hand-crafted by myself from the contouring of the blades to the hand cut saw teeth to ensure the highest degree of craftsmanship & performance. Each blade is crafted from high carbon tool steel & skillfully deferentially hardened & tempered for superior edge holding & blade resilience. Handle grips are permanently fastened by stainless steel Loveless bolts with solid brass nuts, lined lanyard hole and guaranteed never to loosen under the hardest use. My sheaths are personally crafted for a custom fit from heavy leather that's been double stitched & finished for long wear. At this time I am offering four variations, from my high grade collectors WSK & two field grade knives to a never before released movie knife version.
My field-grade knives retain all the same quality construction, differential heat treatment & performance as my high grade collectible knives but come with less costly cosmetic refinements for more practical field use.
