This pair of Daggers come in a wooden display box. The knives have double edged satin finished blades, .193" blade stock and .869" blade depth, hidden tang construction. The handles have brass guards and butts with stacked leather grips with aluminum spacers. Both Knives are marked "J.J.S." on the guards and have a crescent moon and star makers mark (please let us know if you know who this maker is). The knives have some patina and scratches, otherwise good condition. The wooden box has broken hinges. This is something I found on a forum about a similar knife by the same maker. Not sure if it exactly applies to this knife, but its all i could find. - Andrew "I watched this knife go around and around on Ebay for many months but I always had another knife I wanted more. I finally decided to buy it before it disappeared. It is a Turkish F-S style knife from WW-II era?? Dating it may be impossible unless someone on here sees it and knows more about it than I do. One authority suggests it may be Korean War vintage. The handle is nicely shaped from leather washers with a couple aluminum spacers. It is capped with a graceful flaring pommel and a heavy brass guard. The sheath is made from a nice piece of leather and tipped with a small finial shaped fitting. If you know anything about this style knife or a Turkish Unit with the initials P.G.C. please email me. Note the blade is stamped with the Muslim Crescent moon and star. Maybe that will help determine what military unit carried these. "
