Shipping Policy

Any customers with separate shipping and billing addresses are subject to follow up contact. If no contact can be made, your order will be cancelled. Please understand that this policy is to protect our customers from fraud and theft.

Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS.

Orders placed by 3:00pm EST will be shipped the same day. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.

For our international customers, you must call or email after ordering to arrange for duties/customs and declarations before we will ship your order. USPS Express International shipments with declarations greater than $200, incur an additional $15.00 fee for postage/insurance.

Overview

This Art Knife by the Legendary Kenneth King features a Damascus recurve blade with fileworked spine and gold thumbstud and screw. The handle has beautifully carved Damascus scales with 28 colored stones on each side set into the 18kt yellow gold, with 16 diamonds set into the pivot disk on each side, gold plated screws, anodized titanium liners, fileworked stainless steel backspacer with "KEN KING" engraved on the inside. The filework on the blade spine and backspacer meet seamlessly and the blade's filework slips underneath the backspacer's filework when you open it. Nice detent, lockup and blade seating. The blade does rest on the inside of the backspacer, but who cares, this thing is breathtaking. Excellent condition.

About the Maker

King, Kenneth

Kenneth King's career as an artist and designer spans more than 3 decades. A master craftsman in the tradition of the Renaissance, Ken works in many artistic mediums. Ken began his career by serving a European style apprenticeship under the tutelage of a master gold and silver fabricator. Ken then expanded his skills by working with a fourth generation fine jeweler, learning the arts of lost wax casting and skills of diamond setting and mounting precious gems. Ken is a master bench jeweler and has been making jewelry for over 30 years. Ken is also skilled in lapidary arts and in the techniques of gemstone faceting, carving, and cabochon design and creates many one-of-a-kind gemstones for his original custom knives and custom jewelry pieces. Ken applied these skills, along with drawing and design rendering to the creation of custom designed jewelry articles for over 30 years. Ken owned two successful retail jewelry studios serving a wide base of clientele.
