Shipping Policy

Any customers with separate shipping and billing addresses are subject to follow up contact. If no contact can be made, your order will be cancelled. Please understand that this policy is to protect our customers from fraud and theft.

Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS.

Orders placed by 3:00pm EST will be shipped the same day. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.

For our international customers, you must call or email after ordering to arrange for duties/customs and declarations before we will ship your order. USPS Express International shipments with declarations greater than $200, incur an additional $15.00 fee for postage/insurance.

Overview

This slip joint by Ricardo Romano features a satin finished wharncliffe style blade with a single nail nick.  The handle features pinched and fluted steel bolsters, jigged black paper micarta covers, over stainless steel liners.  Spring is flush in the half stop. Includes a Velcro case.  Has a very light scratch on the blade, otherwise excellent condition.

Romano, Ricardo

Ricardo Romano Bernardes was born in 1968 in Brazil and has been making knives for a living since 1990. Ricardo is descendant of a Churara mother and a Calo father. The Romano family, are descendent from the Churara Romani tribe from Southern Italy, Calabria region, and the Churara tribe is originally from Romania. Although having made knives since 1990, knifemaking, as well as knife sharpening and general cutler work, is a family tradition of the Romano family and Ricardo is following this age-old traditional trade of his family, clan and tribe, as well as of the Rom in general.
