Shipping Policy

Any customers with separate shipping and billing addresses are subject to follow up contact. If no contact can be made, your order will be cancelled. Please understand that this policy is to protect our customers from fraud and theft.

Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS.

Orders placed by 3:00pm EST will be shipped the same day. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.

For our international customers, you must call or email after ordering to arrange for duties/customs and declarations before we will ship your order. USPS Express International shipments with declarations greater than $200, incur an additional $15.00 fee for postage/insurance.

Overview

This Trench Knife by Toad Forge features a jeweled spear point blade with a partially sharpened top edge and fullers, .189" blade stock and 1.175" blade depth, hidden tang construction. The handle has a 440 stainless steel guard and glass breaker, anodized billet aluminum grip sealed with nickel acetate, black linen micarta insert. Comes with a brown leather sheath, original box and COA. New from maker.

This is the 9th knife in the series of trench knives, the design inspired by my son, who asked me to make him one. I have done them in double-edged configurations, as well as a couple with saw blade inserts. The blade is 1095 steel, forged and milled to shape, and kiln-hardened and tempered. The grip is machined from aluminum, and hard anodized here in the shop. I do not have or use CNC equipment. The glass breaker, it's supporting structure, the guard and the fasteners are 440 stainless steel. The grip inlay is black linen micarta. The sheath is wax-impregnated burgundy latigo harness leather, hand stitched, with copper rivets and aluminum reinforcing plates.
