If I were to describe the Emerson CQC-17 I would tell you that it is a cross between a sheepsfoot and a straight razor. That’s a pretty close description. But there are some differences.
The knife has a 3.125 inch blade and an overall length of 7.4 inches and finishes neatly in a pocket friendly 4.3 inch handle in the closed position. This compact cutter is a slick, efficient design that looks just as good as it cuts – which is superbly.
The graceful arc of the cutting edges is clean, efficient and of course, razor sharp. I’ve got to say this, “This is a cool pocket knife that I’ve liked more and more as an EDC every time I’ve pulled it out of my pocket to use it.”
Stonewashed blade, black G-10 scales, titanium liners, black stainless steel clip. Comes with original box and papers. #099 of 130. Signed by Ernie Emerson on the blade. Excellent condition.
