This is the latest version of the CITY by Jean-Pierre Martin. It features a hand rub satin finished blade with flipper and notched thumbrest. The handle has black pigmented titanium bolsters, uni-directional carbon fiber scales, invisible screws, retractable black pigmented titanium pocket clip. The pocket clip is really the party piece to this knife and it is genius. Pressing on the top of the pocket clip will raise up the end of it, then once you slide it into your pocket, the back of the clip raises up as well. When it is not in use, it slips back down flush into the handle. The other thing that is pretty neat is the way the button lock mechanism works. When the knife is open, you push the button to close it obviously, but inside the knife, under the button, is a liner that engages the blade. The part that is mind blowing, is that when you press the button, the liner raises up and out of the way. I still don't fully understand how it works, but its cool! Comes with a leather pouch and COA. New from maker at the 2022 Blade Show.
