Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS.
Orders placed by 3:00pm EST will be shipped the same day. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.
For our international customers, you must call or email after ordering to arrange for duties/customs and declarations before we will ship your order. USPS Express International shipments with declarations greater than $200, incur an additional $15.00 fee for postage/insurance.

We have been handcrafting knives in the USA since 1971, when David Boye began making knives in his backyard from recycled sawmill blades. In 1975 he authored his now-classic text, "Step by Step Knifemaking: You Can Do It." He is recognized as one of the major influences in modern custom knife making. Through the years, David's inventiveness, design sense, and refined craftsmanship have produced beautiful, practical works of art. His breakthrough discovery of cast dendritic metallurgy in the early '80's revolutionized traditional blademaking and set new cutting records. In the late '90's, he began working exclusively with Boye Dendritic Cobalt because of its superior cutting abilities and corrosion resistance.
