Shipping Policy

Any customers with separate shipping and billing addresses are subject to follow up contact. If no contact can be made, your order will be cancelled. Please understand that this policy is to protect our customers from fraud and theft.

Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS.

Orders placed by 3:00pm EST will be shipped the same day. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.

For our international customers, you must call or email after ordering to arrange for duties/customs and declarations before we will ship your order. USPS Express International shipments with declarations greater than $200, incur an additional $15.00 fee for postage/insurance.

Overview

This 2-Blade Gunstock by Ryuichi Kawamura features a large single blade that is engaged by the lockback. The remaining blade is a slipjoint that has a halfstop and is flush in all positions. Both blades are hand rub satin finished with polished blade spines/swedge, have nail nicks, and all interior facets are also polished. The handle has pinched and fluted stainless steel bolsters, stag covers with a stainless steel shield escutcheon, stainless steel liners and springs. This is a very classy piece, and excellent work. Has some scuffs and scratches, great condition otherwise.

About the Maker

Kawamura, Ryuichi

"I was born in 1964 in Nagasaki Japan. I graduated from the University of Tokyo in 1987 as a computer technology major. My first experience with custom knives was at a Gun Shop in Miami, and although I cannot remember who made the knife I do remember that it was beautiful! In 1994 I entered the Sanada Knife Making School of Tokyo, where I studied for 8 years under Mr. Sanada who is my knife master. In 2002 I transitioned from being a computer graphic arts designer to work as a full time Knife Maker. My work has been influenced by Joseph Rodgers and IXL in Sheffield England, as well as Jess Horn, Ron Lake and Tony Bose in America. Since I specialize in classic slip-joint multi-blade folder patterns, Tony Bose is one of my greatest knife making idols."
