Roland K. Wiggins and has his name and rank stamped on the blade.
This knife also comes with several letters showing the chain of ownership. It was given to the the current owner by the original owner Roland Wiggins. The current owner had given his Model 1 to a younger man who was going into the Army. This younger man carried his model 1 on every continent except Antarctica. He told this to Roland Wiggins, and Roland gave him his Model 1 (this knife for sale) as a gift to respect the way servicemen take care of one another. He has had it since 1993. Roland purchased this knife for himself as a Christmas present to himself while in uniform, after the Korean War when he was in Newfoundland and Greenland. The catalog and envelope are both dated 1953. Also comes with two other letters between the original owner and the current owner. All of this will be included with the knife.
