Overview
These are extremely rare mint condition 6 inch daggers that were custom made in Solingen Germany for Gingher Inc. in Greensboro, NC more than 40 years ago.
They are in the style of German Holbein daggers from WWII and are embossed with gold lettering "Gingher", "Solingen", and "Germany".
The daggers have a brass pommel and guard with ornate floral design and rosewood grip.
These daggers were produced in very limited amounts and never sold commercially by Gingher.
This is an absolutely unique item associated with both Solingen and Gingher that are both known for producing extremely high-quality cutlery.
Comes with a hand tooled brown leather sheath with brass finial.
Has a couple light scuffs, otherwise excellent condition.
