Shipping Policy

Any customers with separate shipping and billing addresses are subject to follow up contact. If no contact can be made, your order will be cancelled. Please understand that this policy is to protect our customers from fraud and theft.

Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS.

Orders placed by 3:00pm EST will be shipped the same day. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.

For our international customers, you must call or email after ordering to arrange for duties/customs and declarations before we will ship your order. USPS Express International shipments with declarations greater than $200, incur an additional $15.00 fee for postage/insurance.

Overview

This knife by Rick Dunkerley features a mosaic Damascus blade with fileworked blade spine, and thumbstud with a ruby inset. The handle is comprised of dovetailed Damascus and presentation grade black lip pearl scales over file worked and anodized titanium liners. The backbar features file worked Damascus and all pins have been fileworked. A gorgeous piece. Silky smooth action. Comes with a zipper case. And some pages from Blade Magazine March 1999 that feature this knife. Excellent condition.

About the Maker

Dunkerley, Rick

Rick first started making knives in 1984, and after moving to Montana in 1985, his interest in the craft increased. He made stainless steel hunters and utility knives until 1991, when he began forging carbon steel knives and creating damascus steel. Rick joined the American Bladesmith Society in 1992. Since receiving his jouneyman smith rating in 1995, Rick’s main focus has been damascus steel, particularly mosaic and composite bar blades. Rick attained the American Bladesmith Society Mastersmith rating in 1997, and in 2002 was selected to the Board of Directors of that organization. He has been a full-time knifemaker since 1996, except for the two month’s each fall that he operates as an outfitter in Montana’s Scapegoat Wilderness. Rick now specializes in damascus folding knives, and also enjoys making Bowie or Persian style straight knives. Rick has earned many awards for his one-of-a-kind creations.
