Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS.
Orders placed by 3:00pm EST will be shipped the same day. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.
For our international customers, you must call or email after ordering to arrange for duties/customs and declarations before we will ship your order. USPS Express International shipments with declarations greater than $200, incur an additional $15.00 fee for postage/insurance.

This knife by Lon Humphrey features a hand forged blade with satin finished grinds and forged finished flats, has notched thumb ramp, .182" blade stock and 1.32" blade depth, full tang construction, has mirror polished tang and blade spine. The handle has curly maple scales with stainless steel pins and lanyard tube. Comes with a brown leather sheath. Has some patina, and a couple light rust spots and scratches. Great condition otherwise.

I have experimented with many different ways of fabricating a knife and I am convinced that a forged knife out performs any other type of blade. The steel I'm currently working with is W2 but I can also work in 5160 and any of the 10 series steels which are all high carbon tool steel . I don't work with any stainless steel. My philosophy on making knives is simple; if it's made by a machine it's not handmade. I forge all my blades by hand. I do use a power hammer to work down large stock to smaller size and to make my Damascus but I don't use any type of CNC equipment. If you're paying a few hundred dollars for a handmade knife are you buying someone's ability to program a CNC mill or a work of art made the way it would have been a hundred years ago?
