Shipping Policy

Any customers with separate shipping and billing addresses are subject to follow up contact. If no contact can be made, your order will be cancelled. Please understand that this policy is to protect our customers from fraud and theft.

Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS.

Orders placed by 3:00pm EST will be shipped the same day. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.

For our international customers, you must call or email after ordering to arrange for duties/customs and declarations before we will ship your order. USPS Express International shipments with declarations greater than $200, incur an additional $15.00 fee for postage/insurance.

Overview

This stunning lockback folder by the late Jess Horn features a hand rubbed satin finished clip point blade with false top edge and nail nick. The handle has nickel silver bolsters with beautiful stag scales, hand peened nickel silver pins, and nickel silver liners. Satin finished stainless steel backspacer, black linen micarta spacer at the butt, and butt of handle has lanyard hole. All the lines of this knife line up perfectly. It is a truly beautiful knife. Numbered 108. Flush lockup and nice blade seating. Has a couple very light scratches, otherwise excellent condition. Comes with a felt pouch

About the Maker

Horn, Jess

Considered a knife making legend, Jess Horn is primarily known for very high quality, top notch material custom folding knives. Jess Horn has been making knives since 1968 and, while occasionally making fixed blades, he is best known for his investor quality folders, working folders, and collectible period pieces. Jess's linerlock and slip joint folders are typically made with ATS-34 and 154CM stainless steel, and he uses a variety of natural handle materials, though favoring fossil Ivories and Stag for many of his knives. He was a longstanding voting member of the Knife Makers Guild. Jess passed away in 2016.
