Overview

After a long journey of bringing these pieces from a sketch into a machined Titanium sculpture I'm calling these the NGMCo. “fn+F key” - or “function F key” if said out loud.

I've been frequently asked, "what are these for?" My go-to answer is, “if you use your imagination it’s definitely not a schneef shovel” … because I’m a smart ass ????

This is a piece of titanium art, three dimensionally designed & sculpted by me in my shop in Colorado.  Second, it is not a schneef shovel.  Third, you could open both packages and dickheads with it.

It’s a great scraper, poker, pryer, nail cleaner, bowl scraper & screwdriver.  In other words it serves “fn+F.” Also… I’ll be damned if I know a single use for those “keys” on my keyboard but I’m sure they’re hella useful tools… and a game changer when something “clicks” and they’re pressed neatly into action… and while waiting by your side to perform these tasks your fn+F key will be looking sexy AF with the rest of your baller EDC. ????

About the Maker

Nice Guy Machine Co.

NGMCo. is owned and operated by me, Archie Ofenstein. I have been a gearhead and edc enthusiast my entire life. I spent my early adult years in Austin TX as a musician but quickly learned that the lifestyle was not for me. In 2003 I moved to Terlingua, TX to pursue work as an outdoor enthusiast. There I met an entire culture of guides in all facets of outdoor adventure. I quickly learned that guiding on the river would be my path. I spent the first several years mostly on the Rio Grande River in the Big Bend National Park & the Arkansas River in Chaffee County, CO. Moving forward, I decided to change it up and become a craftsman in the fall, winter & spring, saving what seemed like endless summers guiding on the Arkansas river & managing American Adventure Expeditions. Every day got better as they continue to do to this day. January 23, 2008 I started my YouTube channel became one of the first edc reviewers, mostly reviewing folding knives. As life has waxed and waned, the channel lulled and I kept on living. My edc gear enthusiasm has only grown and it finally came to the point where I had to be a maker. Not only that, but I need to buck the trend of outsourcing. All goods with the NGMCo. name will be designed and crafted by me in Colorado, USA. Cheers.
