Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS.
Orders placed by 3:00pm EST will be shipped the same day. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.
For our international customers, you must call or email after ordering to arrange for duties/customs and declarations before we will ship your order. USPS Express International shipments with declarations greater than $200, incur an additional $15.00 fee for postage/insurance.

This knife by Rod Chappel features a mirror polished blade with notched thumbrest, .193" blade stock and 1.217" blade depth, full tapered tang construction. The handle has walrus ivory scales with red liners, stainless steel pins and lanyard hole. Comes with a Velcro case. Dated February 5th, 1992 on the blade. Has some cracks in the scales, otherwise excellent condition.

Rod "Caribou" Chappel named his business, "Davis Custom Knives", after his grandfather Roderick Davis. Rod began making knives around 1973, possibly earlier, and studied his craft under Gil Hibben and Harvey Draper. Rod's knives incorporate his many diverse talents, culminating in both artistic and functional designs rooted in his deep appreciation for perfection. Rod passed away in 2017.
