Overview
This is an Antique Pre-American Revolution (pre-1776) Spanish Trade Axe head with a custom curly maple handle with leather wrap and decorative brass studs at the butt. The original makers mark is visible and is what looks like a palm tree. The axe head itself is old and has pitting and oxidation, but is still in good condition. The handle was made by Ryan Johnson of RMJ Tactical. It is hexagonal shaped with a swell towards the butt. The handle was made from the wood of an antique coat rack. Comes with original sales receipt from an antique store.
